Insane deals are hitting the EV world right now. The Audi RS e-tron GT, one of the quickest electric vehicles out there, is getting over $50,000 in discounts. Yeah, you read that right—this "stupid fast" supercar is flopping hard on sales, and dealers are racing to the bottom to move them.
A brand-new Audi RS e-tron GT Performance had an original sticker price of $178,000. Now? It's down to $125,000 at places like Audi Las Vegas—a whopping $54,000 off. I remember seeing lease deals as low as $600-$700 a month not long ago. If you're in the market to lease one, check your local dealers; there might still be some crazy offers.
But let's be real: this rapid rocket hasn't set any sales records. Why? Depreciation is hitting hard. These are already showing up used for $50K-$60K. Tesla gets flak for depreciation, but it happens across the board in EVs. Ouch.
Current lease quotes? Still around $2,000/month—not the bargain it needs to be to draw crowds. What do you think? Is this a steal, or a sign of bigger EV troubles? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
