Last Day to Lock in Cybertruck at $59K: 2027 Delivery & Why I Placed My Deposit
Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla fan like me, today's video (and this post) is urgent. It's potentially our last day to lock in the incredible $59,000 price for the Tesla Cybertruck. Due to insane demand, Tesla has wiped out estimated delivery dates from their site. Instead of a specific month, it now just says "2027". Is that January or December? Who knows—but time's ticking!
How to Secure Your Spot
Head straight to the Tesla website and place your order. Unfortunately, you can't use a referral code (like the one in my video description) for the Cybertruck anymore—that gets you up to $1,000 off other Tesla vehicles. But it's worth it for this deal.
One big heads-up: You cannot transfer Full Self-Driving (FSD) to any vehicle delivered after March 31st this year. Tesla just updated that policy.

Why I Placed a $250 Deposit Anyway
This reminds me of the 2019 Cybertruck frenzy when everyone was throwing down $100 deposits left and right. But this time is different (shoutout to Josh for the breakdown):
- Pricing is clear and fixed at $59K.
- One singular trim level—no guessing games.
- Features are known, clear, and proven by existing owners.
- Deposit is $250 (non-refundable) vs. $100 back then.
- Way better value than the 2019 base model.
I rolled the dice and locked one in. Why? It's so far out (2027!), and I'm experimenting with using it as nine Powerwalls for a house—how cool would that be? Plus, no air suspension might mean even more long-term reliability.
Will People Bail When New Models Drop?
Louie dropped a hot take: Tesla's gonna cash in big on these non-refundable deposits once a new Cybertruck or SUV launches. A lot of folks might jump ship. People have asked me: "Can I switch to a different trim or model later?"
Short answer: Potentially yes. Tesla's been flexible before—store managers have issued refunds or transfers. At $250, it's a low-risk bet. Want the Cybertruck at $59K someday? Place it now. Change your mind? Options exist.
