Exclusive Look: New Cybercab Photos Showcase Ambient Lighting, Illuminated Logo, and Fresh UI
Hey everyone, DennisCW here! Tesla just dropped some incredible new photos of the Cybercab, and they're packed with details that have me seriously hyped. From ambient lighting that lights up the entire cabin to a slick new UI and even an illuminated logo, they're taking the robocab vibe to the next level. Let's break it all down.
Stunning Exterior and Branding
These shots appear to be from Austin during SXSW (South by Southwest), showing off the Cybercab in all its glory. Check out this illuminated logo on the rear – it looks like a massive, reflective sticker that might flash when photographed. No clue how they power it without visible wiring, but it's a killer branding touch. They've got "Cybercab" emblazoned right on the screen too, and there's ambient LED lighting flashing along the bottom of the doors. The tail light is massive, echoing the Model Y design but dialed up for robocab flair.
Interior Glow-Up: Ambient Lighting Everywhere
The real magic happens inside. Tesla's gone all-in on ambient lighting:
- Glowing strips throughout the cabin
- LEDs in the air vents (something the Model Y lacks)
- Under-seat lighting for that futuristic vibe
If they roll this out to other Teslas, it could transform the entire lineup. Oh, and guess what? Even Optimus is getting in on the ambient lighting action. Tesla's creativity is on fire!
Cybercab UI Revealed
We've got our first clear peek at the Cybercab user interface via screenshots:
- Pedals and steering wheel options (for hybrid mode?)
- Controls for opening doors, frunk, or trunk – just like your Model Y
- Mirrors and settings menu with a fold mirrors button
- Self-driving prominently featured
- Factory Sentinel watermark overlay
It's familiar yet optimized for robocab life. Super clean and intuitive.
Why I'm Pumped for Cybercab
At a rumored $30K price tag, the Cybercab could be a game-changer. Imagine owning your own personal robocab that drives you around and picks up passengers for extra cash. The value proposition is insane – Tesla's redefining mobility.
