Tesla 0% Financing Extended in China: US Update, Q1 Deliveries, and Hot Deals

0% Financing Extended – China Leads, US to Follow?

Tesla China just extended their killer 0% APR financing for Model 3 and Model Y through April 30th. Orders before then get a limited paint discount plus options for 5-year or 7-year 0% plans. No end date in sight on the US site either – currently at 0.99% for Model 3 and Model Y (except Performance).

My take? We're likely seeing 0% roll out across more models soon. Performance might wait until Q3/Q4. The math is simple: at 0.99%, interest is minimal if you pay off early. But if you can wait, deals only get better – especially post-earnings call in late April.

Q1 Deliveries: Low Demand Despite Incentives?

Analysts predict ~365K units for Q1 2026, down from 418K in Q4 2025. Factors? Intense competition from cheaper EVs, especially Chinese models. New Model Y is here, but Cybertruck/SX only ~14K expected.

Despite 0% APR and high gas prices ($6-8/gal in some areas), demand feels soft. Tesla's pivoting to robotaxis, Optimus, and energy – smart move against rivals.
