For example, one viewer shared a finance screenshot for a 2024 Tesla Model Y with 1.99% over 72 months, resulting in payments of about $751/month and total interest of around $3,189. It's not 0%, but it's a solid deal over six years.
Steps to Apply 1.99% to Your Existing Order
If you've got a pending order and want to snag this rate, here's what to do (at your own risk – double-check with Tesla to ensure it doesn't affect things like your $7,500 federal tax credit):
- Contact Tesla: Reach out via the app or support to request the 1.99% rate on your current order.
- Reapply for Credit: You'll need to submit a new credit application to lock in the lower rate.
- Verify Eligibility: This applies to select trims only:
- Model Y: Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and Premium All-Wheel Drive (Standard is 3.99%; Performance doesn't qualify yet).
