Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you've been following my channel, you know I'm all about Teslas, and my 2024 Foundation Series Cybertruck has been a star of many videos. I've had this beast for 6 months now—actually, this is my second Cybertruck. Tesla bought back the first one, but this one's been rock-solid. No major issues, just pure reliability. Today, I'm sharing my unfiltered thoughts after supercharging it almost exclusively (97% of the time) and putting real miles on it. Spoiler: I'm keeping it until the wheels fall off.
This isn't your stock Cyberbeast. I've loaded it up with Unplugged Performance goodies that make it even tougher and better-looking:
Plus, OC Tint Solution handled the tints (including the front windshield), and 24K Shine ceramic coated the whole thing for that extra protection and shine.
Imagine my tricked-out Cybertruck here—green wrap popping!
Let's be real: the Cybertruck looks crazy. I get why some folks shy away—it's polarizing. But drive one, and everything changes. The steer-by-wire, air suspension, and overall comfort make it a dream for daily use. It's smooth, quiet, and handles like a luxury SUV.
I've convinced friends eyeing a Model X to test drive the Cybertruck instead. Especially now with deals dropping it to around $59,000—that's a steal! If you love Teslas, you owe it to yourself to sit in one. Looks are surface-level; the experience is next-level.
No truck story is complete without some war wounds. My wife was squeezing into a tight spot in Venice (Westside parking woes, am I right?), and she clipped a concrete barrier. Here's the damage:
The paint protection film did its job (mostly), but it shows why Tesla should upgrade these panels. Next mods? Unplugged Performance metal bumpers for true indestructibility. For now, a quick wrap patch might do as a Band-Aid. Up close it's noticeable, but from afar? Invisible.
The battle scar—proof it's been lived in!
Cybertruck guzzles more juice than other Teslas—it's the least efficient in the lineup. My average? 517 Wh/mi. Compare that to Model 3/Y at ~250-300 Wh/mi (lower is better). But with free supercharging, I stopped sweating it. Curious to see how it holds up at 100k-150k miles.
The Cybertruck isn't for the faint of heart, but for daily driving, off-roading, and turning heads? It's phenomenal. Comfortable, capable, and fun. I'm not selling—washing it and modding more is the plan.
