Tesla Incentive Predictions: Best Deals for Model 3 and Y This Quarter
Hey everyone, Dennis here from DennisCW! If you're into Tesla deal hacking like I am, you're in the right place. In my latest video, I dove deep into upcoming Tesla discounts, financing offers, and some exciting updates. Whether you're eyeing a Model 3, Model Y, or just curious about the EV market, I've got predictions, tips, and insights to help you score the best deal. Let's break it down!
Current Tesla Incentives: What's Hot Right Now?
Right off the bat, let's be real—current incentives are a mixed bag. The standout is the Cybertruck with 0% financing when you bundle Full Self-Driving (FSD). Plus, inventory discounts can shave off $8,000 to $10,000. The Foundation Series seems sold out, but they pop up sporadically.
For other models like the Model 3 and Y, options are slimmer. If you're paying cash or using a credit union, you might snag rates around 4-5%. But unless you're putting down a huge amount, it's not game-changing. If you're in a pinch (like after an accident or big repair bill), check out our Patreon for a list of credit unions with rates better than 5.54%.
Other perks include:
- 3 months of FSD with a referral link (use mine in the description!).
- Free paint options (white, blue, or red) if you take delivery by July 14th.
- America's Hero Lift driver incentives.
And a huge shoutout to our Canadian viewers: Model Y prices just dropped by $20,000! Tariffs had jacked them up, but now they're back to earth. Great news for you folks up north.

Predictions for Q3 Incentives: Model 3 and Model Y Focus
Based on trends, here's what I see coming. The referral program might stick around or vanish—fingers crossed it stays. Free Supercharging transfers? Unlikely. But FSD transfers? I bet we'll see them for the next two quarters.
Financing Rates
- Model Y: Could drop to 1.99%. Why not 0%? Tesla doesn't need to go that low with the $7,500 federal tax credit ending soon. Expect heavy marketing pushing deliveries by September 30th.
- Model 3: Might hit 0% like last quarter—it's more aggressive to move inventory.
I'd love 0% across the board, especially since other markets like China are seeing 0.99% or better. But realistically, 1.99% for Model Y feels right.
Leasing and Inventory Discounts
- Leasing: Model Y might see aggressive deals like $1,000 down (or even zero) instead of $3,000.
- Inventory: Model 3 has $2,000-$3,000 off. Model Y? Mostly demo discounts, but they could improve to $1-$1.50 per mile on demos. Check our deal spreadsheet in the description for the latest!
New Releases
- Seven-seater, six-seater, or Model Y Performance? Hoping for next month, but it might slip to Q4. Tesla's focusing on high-volume models like RWD/AWD Y and 3.
What incentive are you waiting for? Drop a comment—0% on Model Y? If it hits 1.99%, will you pull the trigger? Let's discuss!

Model S Plaid Deliveries: Exciting but Imperfect
The refreshed Model S Plaid is hitting showrooms, but build quality issues persist. Shoutout to Matt for sharing his experience—he rejected his due to panel gaps and misalignments. As a fourth-time Tesla owner, he knows they're not perfect, but for the price, it's disappointing.
Updates include a lower spoiler, carbon fiber grille, and new headlights. If you're in LA and taking delivery of one, hit me up—I'd love to check it out!
Spy Shots: 2025 Model Y Performance
Spotted testing at the Nürburgring: The new Model Y Performance! Features include 21-inch wheels, a rear spoiler like the Model 3, a diffuser, and bucket seats. No major front changes yet, but it's looking sporty. Release? August fingers crossed, but rumors say September-October. Tesla's serious about making this a fun, fast crossover.
RoboTaxi Expansion and Grok AI Update
RoboTaxi is gearing up—Arizona's first confirmed, with Nevada, California (Bay Area and San Diego), and Florida next. Exciting for autonomous rides!
Plus, Grok 4 AI hits Tesla vehicles next week via the summer 12.5 update. If you use AI daily like me, this integration could be a game-changer. Do you use AI? Want it in your Tesla? Let me know!
