Tesla Incentives We Want and Top Accessories for New Owners
Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a fan of my YouTube channel, you know I love diving into all things Tesla. Today, I'm turning one of my recent videos into this blog post to discuss a fun topic: what incentives could Tesla offer to get you to pull the trigger on a new car? We'll also chat about the must-have accessories for any new Tesla owner. Let's jump in!
What Incentives Are You Hoping for from Tesla?
Tesla recently asked the community: "What incentives and offers from Tesla would get you to buy a car before the end of the quarter?" It's an interesting question, but the timing feels a bit off since we're nearing the end of Q3, and major new deals might not drop until Q4. That said, this could be targeted at markets like Canada or Europe. Let's break down some existing discounts and what we'd love to see next.
Current Incentives Worth Noting
- Veterans Discount and America's Heroes: Tesla already offers these, including better trade-in values and the ability to transfer Full Self-Driving (FSD).
- Better Trade-In Values: I'm all for this, especially as a loyalty perk. If you're a bit underwater on your current Tesla, a boosted trade-in could make upgrading seamless.
- Lyft Incentive: Shoutout to Truth Seeker for highlighting this one—earn $1,000 on 10,000 miles, up to $2,000 if you follow the steps. It's super easy to qualify!
- America's Heroes/Student/Teacher Discount: Another straightforward $1,000 off. If you're curious how to snag these (like we did for our Model Y Performance), join our super secret Discord group—link in the description of my videos. The community there has cracked the code quickly!
Tesla takes in a lot of trade-ins and could add even more value by enhancing FSD perks or elevating incentives for their vehicles.
My Wishlist for Q4 Incentives
Looking ahead, here's what I think would be game-changers:
- Supercharging for Life: This is a total cheat code! If you're putting on serious mileage (especially with a Cybertruck) and have superchargers near your errands, it's a no-brainer.
- 0% Financing and Bigger Discounts: I've always been in this camp. Make financing irresistible.
- Three Years of Full Self-Driving: FSD is gaining traction—people are asking for it more than ever. Bundling three years free could be a killer proposition to drive sales.
What about you? If you're holding off until Q4, what incentives would seal the deal? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
Congrats on Your New Tesla—Now Let's Talk Accessories
You've bought (or are about to buy) your Tesla—awesome! But the excitement doesn't stop there. Accessories are the second most thrilling part, and there are tons out there. To keep it simple, I'll bucket my top recommendations into three categories: phone mounts, all-weather floor mats, and center consoles. I've got links and discount codes to my favorites in the video descriptions and on our Best Deals spreadsheet (page 2).
1. All-Weather Floor Mats: My #1 Recommendation
Protecting your Tesla's interior is crucial, especially in messy weather. I break these down into good, better, and best:
- Good: Affordable options on Amazon.
- Better: Brands like Tesmanian.
- Best: 3W Liners—these are on our Model X and Model 3 Performance. Use my promo code for a deal that matches competitors' prices but with superior quality material. Link below!
2. Center Consoles
Tesla doesn't include one stock, so this is a must-have. Check out the one from Jowua—we use it on all our Teslas. It's practical and keeps things organized.
3. Phone Mounts
A solid phone mount makes navigation and calls a breeze. Again, Jowua has a great option with a link and discount in the description.
These accessories have made our Tesla ownership experience way better. A huge thanks to everyone who's used my links to support the channel—it means the world!
Wrapping It Up
Whether you're eyeing incentives to buy now or planning for Q4, Tesla has some solid options, and I'm excited to see what they roll out next. And for new owners, don't skip those accessories—they'll elevate your drive. If you enjoyed this post, subscribe to my YouTube channel for more Tesla tips, and let me know your thoughts below.
