Tesla is officially rolling out Tesla Juniper Model Y ambient lighting for the frunk and trunk on new builds.
The Announcement
This factory option targets the Juniper Model Y and Model Y L, starting with vehicles manufactured after September 28, 2025, in the China market. It adds subtle, useful illumination exactly where owners need it most when loading or searching in the dark.
Background on Aftermarket Options
We've seen similar Model Y trunk ambient light kits from third parties for years.
