Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a long-time follower, you know I've been putting my 2019 Tesla Model 3 through its paces. With 158,000 miles on the odometer, this thing has been an absolute beast—bulletproof reliability, no major issues, and still going strong for those everyday errands when my other rides are tied up.
But even the most reliable EVs have their minor hiccups. Recently, the passenger-side headlight (left side) decided to call it quits. It threw a warning message that vanished after a bit, but the light stayed out. No big deal during the day, but at night? Not ideal for safe driving.
Enter my buddy Austin at Aim Wrap in California—a shop that's not only partnered with Nola Customs but also wrapped my previous Model Y in that killer red finish you might remember from past videos. We headed there to swap out the faulty OEM headlight with one from a Model Y. Spoiler: It was a straightforward upgrade that got everything back to perfect working order.

While we were there, I spotted something epic—Austin's team builds custom Tesla Superchargers for home use! Forget overpriced alternatives:
Wire it up to a wall charger, add an optional LED-lit Tesla logo, and boom—you've got Supercharger vibes right in your driveway. Check them out on Instagram @aimrap and ask for Austin. Super cool for any Tesla owner looking to level up their charging game.
Headlight back in? Time for tests:
Everything works flawlessly. Night drives are safe again!
If you're dealing with a bum headlight on your Model 3, this Model Y swap is a smart, affordable fix. Huge thanks to Austin and the Aim Wrap crew for the hookup. Drop a comment if you've had similar issues or want more high-mileage Tesla updates!
Stay charged, DennisCW
