Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla fan like me, you've probably heard the big news: Tesla is discontinuing the Model S and Model X, with production wrapping up by June. But here's the exciting part—I think we're on the verge of an epic clearance sale to move the remaining inventory. Let me break down why I'm so bullish on killer deals and what you can expect.
Tesla has officially pulled the plug on these luxury beasts. No more new Model S or X rolling off the lines after June. That means a finite supply of these high-end EVs, but also a potential fire sale to clear lots before they sit there gathering dust.
Unless Tesla pulls out all the stops, I see inventory lingering well into Q3 or even Q4. And to make it happen? They're going to need to get aggressive.
Buckle up, because I wouldn't be surprised by these sweeteners:
These combos could make a Model S or X an absolute steal compared to competitors.
Don't expect deals tomorrow. I predict they'll ramp up in Q3 or Q4 as inventory piles up. No big catalyst? Those cars will sit on lots longer than Tesla wants.
Shoutout to the viewer who raised this gem—what happens to FSD in the deluxe package now that standalone FSD purchases end on Feb 14th? Will it stay exclusive to S/X to boost value? Or phase out? This could be the unique selling point making these the only Teslas with FSD capability. Curious to hear Tesla's play here.
