The Tesla Model Y V2L adapter started as a Performance-only item that later disappeared. It returned with the Model Y L as an $80 Model Y power outlet adapter. Now the same Tesla vehicle to load Model Y functionality is live on all Premium builds.
Owners simply plug the adapter into the charge port and power tools, lights, or appliances up to the supported wattage. It is the same hardware that ships with newer Model Y L orders.
