Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla owner like me, you've probably experienced the highs of Full Self-Driving (FSD) and the occasional frustrating lows. Today, I want to dive into one of those lows: Tesla's navigation system, which has been straight-up terrible lately—especially when paired with FSD.
I was cruising down the highway today, minding my own business, when FSD decided to pull a wild stunt. Check out this screenshot (imagine a highway map with a ridiculous red arrow):

At the red arrow marked at the bottom, the nav insisted I exit the highway, take a right, hit a light, make a U-turn, loop back, turn left, and re-merge onto the highway. What?! I was supervising closely (as always), so I quickly disengaged FSD, stayed straight on the highway past the exit, and re-engaged once we were clear.
FSD itself is fantastic—don't get me wrong—but these navigation quirks make it completely unbearable at times. I've seen this exact nonsense around the same area repeatedly. Is it tied to recent updates? Probably, with Tesla pushing out more frequent ones to iron out these kinks.
This isn't isolated. Navigation has been wonky for many of us. Drop a comment below:
