Elon Musk has dropped a quick update on the highly anticipated Tesla Roadster, and spoiler alert: it's facing a slight delay. According to a recent post from Non-Tesla News, Musk has pushed back the unveil date again, now targeting late April.
Here's the exact tweet: "The new Roadster reveal probably in late April." Knowing Elon, this has all the makings of a cheeky 4/20 reveal. Can you imagine unveiling a potentially flying supercar on April 20th? If I had to bet, that's the date they're aiming for. Elon loves a good meme!
As a fun throwback shared by Nick, deliveries of the original Tesla Roadster kicked off on this very date back in 2008. Let's reminisce with the specs:
These early Roadsters were lightweight beasts and have held their value incredibly well, especially low-mileage examples. They're collector's items now.
The excitement for the next-gen Roadster is palpable. With rumors of insane acceleration, massive range, and maybe even flight capabilities, it's set to redefine supercars. Stay tuned – late April could be epic!
