Tesla V4 500 kW Superchargers Rolling Out: Four Locations Now Live!
Hey everyone, DennisCW here! If you're a Tesla enthusiast like me, you'll be excited to hear about the latest rollout of Tesla's V4 Superchargers capable of delivering up to 500 kW charging speeds. I was under the impression there was just one out there, but nope—Tesla has quietly opened four of these beasts across the US!
The Latest Addition: Kissimmee, Florida
The newest one is in Kissimmee, Florida, right near Orlando. This station features eight charging stalls and is ready to juice up your Cybertruck at blistering speeds. Here's a quick cost breakdown (check the Tesla app for real-time pricing):
- Perfect for road trips in the Sunshine State!
All Four V4 Supercharger Locations
Here's the full list of where you can find these ultra-fast chargers right now:
- Kissimmee, Florida (near Orlando)
- Gatlinburg, Tennessee
- Taylorsville, Utah
- Redwood City, California (Northern California)
Cybertruck: The Only One That Can Hit 500 kW (For Now)
Currently, only the Cybertruck can take full advantage of these 500 kW speeds. Other Tesla models like the Model Y just can't keep up yet. We've seen videos where the Cybertruck ramps up to 500 kW briefly—it's impressive!—before tapering off quickly to protect the battery. Still, it's a game-changer for Cybertruck owners needing rapid top-ups.
With software updates and battery optimizations on the horizon, I wouldn't be surprised if more vehicles join the party soon. Tesla's expanding these to other markets too, so keep an eye out!
